Apple is testing a standalone Siri app, a new interface and deeper AI features for this year's software update, Bloomberg reports.

 The latest version of iOS 26, iOS 26.4, is now available for download. The update doesn't have the Siri feature set we were hoping for, but there are quite a few new additions like new emoji and an AI music feature.

 Apple is testing a standalone Siri chatbot app for iOS 27, reports Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. Apple plans to debut a chatbot version of ?Siri? that will compete with Claude and ChatGPT, and the new ?Siri? could be accessible through a dedicated app.
