The Israeli government has told CBC News that it requested permission for wanted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to overfly Newfoundland and Nova Scotia on Monday en route to a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump. Canadian officials are again refusing to comment on how Netanyahu was able to enter and leave Canadian airspace, or whether they gave him permission.
