Carney said Canada will lift its tariffs on U.S. goods that comply with a North American free trade pact but keep tariffs on U.S. steel, aluminum and autos.
Canada announced Friday it was dropping many of its retaliatory tariffs on U.S. goods, though the 25% counter-tariff on autos, steel and aluminum remains.
